When I started The Davos CEO Pledge, I assumed I would get 30-40% women to World Economic Forum within a few years because as a former executive search consultant, I knew the top female talent was available. I asked the world’s top CEOs to help me – men who were written up in articles & admired by the press. Today, after working diligently to get the percentage from just 15% women to 22%, I realize there is a much bigger issue. Some Davos Men have secrets, and until we address this issue, we will not get a healthy representation of the seasoned women leaders ages 45-65+ to achieve inclusive economic growth. A major obstacle is the PR Industrial Complex which spins stories to make these CEOs look good. Meantime some of these CEOs & Board members are taking advantage of highly intelligent women. Older male CEOs promoting the idea of hiring young millennials is a recipe for disaster, because it leaves out the amazing, experienced women with wisdom. Here I discuss two Davos CEOs (Martin Sorrell & Jeff Bezos in the MeToo era) & Success Coach Tony Robbins. My goal since 2011 is 30-40% women leaders at Davos & Cannes Lions. For anyone willing to help me achieve my dream, please get in touch on Linked In. As positive & hopeful as I have been in my initial posts, dealing with Davos CEOs, Board members & Billionaires is not always pretty: WATCH
