We are in the midst of one of the most important moments in US History. God bless Patrick Byrne, the former CEO of Overstock who has a PhD from Stanford, studied at Cambridge & went to Dartmouth. His father was mentored by Warren Buffett in the 1970s like mine was. Remember when Patrick exposed the fraud on Wall Street? As a leader with integrity, I felt it too. But this time we are dealing with Election Fraud in six US cities and foreign interference by Media, Tech & Davos CEOs. The ex-Unilever CEO Paul Polman is a UN & Davos Co-Chair with Mark Malloch Brown who is Chair of Smartmatic (remember Dominion Software via Sequoia). I advised Paul for six years in a quest to improve (& save) Unilever and also get more women to World Economic Forum. But he ultimately admitted to me some shocking truths. First there was that night in Mexico when he was to become Chair of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). Then there was his black tie dinner with President Trump at Blenheim Palace (I was communicating with him in the car). He told me upsetting things about Klaus Schwab, Co-Chair of WEF & how the mission of WEF was not to get more women there: It was a place for men to do deals. Paul Polman then confided in me his Communist beliefs! Women & Americans are you listening? I was COMPLETELY SHOCKED. Now you know why Patrick & I are working 24/7 this holiday to save America & the world from dangerous Davos Men. CLICK TO VIEW

How FT Alphaville, Sandra Rupp & CEO Paul Polman Saved Unilever
Posted by: Sandra Rupp on: March 2, 2017
“We cannot choose between growth & sustainability. We must have both.” UNILEVER CEO
“Unilever and CEO Paul Polman are the crown jewel of the consumer products industry.” Sandra Rupp, Executive Coach in FT comments (she now has viewers in 100 countries)
“Introducing the priceless Sandra Rupp.” FT Alphaville
Each morning I wake up to my Financial Times alerts on my smart phone to see headlines about my favorite CEOs. About ten days ago, I almost fell out of bed….There was a story in FT Alphaville (founded by the talented Paul Murphy) about Unilever stock and something going on with Kraft Heinz. As a world’s top business thinker, the first thing I did was head for my laptop and Twitter where I can read headlines of 25+ global publications. Next I was on the phone to a friend at a top hedge fund in New York asking him to tell me more about private equity firm 3G. Interestingly Warren Buffett helped my Dad find his CEO job back in the ’70s. I had even consulted to companies like Cadbury. I had to work fast, I had to take my comments to the FT, and I had to get creative because CEO Paul Polman and his visionary Sustainable Living Plan are worth everything we’ve got! He is my favorite CEO in the world, an innovator like no one else: irreplaceable and highly regarded by other Davos CEOs (and Executive Coaches). And the rest is Herstory: Yes FT Alphaville, Sandra Rupp, CEO Paul Polman and even Sir Martin Sorrell at WPP helped save the most historically important & sustainable company in the world: UNILEVER. And now I want to work with CEO Paul Polman and CMO Keith Weed to communicate the importance of The Sustainable Living Plan to investment managers around the globe. When we look back on business history, I believe we will see this as a KEY turning point for shareholders, consumers & employees. And I look forward to many more years ahead for Unilever’s highly talented CEO Paul Polman who was successful in fending off a takeover in record time with a little help from the many people who believe in him. Watch my video for the EXCITING STORY: Paul, let’s take everyone from Sustainable to Flourishing!

Why CEOs Shouldn’t Tell Everyone HOW to VOTE #Brexit #President #Governors

How would you feel if CEOs told you & your family How to Vote? For me, it is an alarming trend.
UPDATE: After this post, CEOs have cut back on telling employees and customers how to vote, so Sandra is buying Unilever’s TRESemme and Dove products again 🙂
I read a post in Harvard Business Review about concerns with CEOs trying to influence how people vote There is even a PR research study on it. (Update: since this post there are articles in The Washington Post & the Naples Daily News on why “Consumers aren’t buying CEO Politics”). To me Politics, Business & Religion are three very different realms, and they should not tell each other what to do. I am very concerned by a trend I am seeing among a handful of mostly male Davos CEOs and today, on the day that the UK Votes on #Brexit I am speaking up. The Economist had a cover post recently about how people’s Freedom of Speech is under attack (even on social media) and how it is time to speak up. It is one thing if a CEO is asked by an employee or friend what their view is on a political or religious topic. It is quite another for CEOs to be tweeting or appearing in front of the media and telling employees and customers how to vote (one American banker threatened to take jobs away from the UK if they voted #Brexit and a California CEO has bullied US Governors, a female University President & NC’s Moms). Women executives have asked me to discuss this topic. WATCH my BREXIT VIDEO to UK-based Unilever CEO (he is one of my favorite CEOs but even he’s been tweeting how to vote on Brexit to his employees & customers (70% Women). They own Lever, Lipton, Dove, Axe, Hellmann’s & TreSemme. I highlight 5 Things people might want to know about Democracy. For the time being, I won’t be able to use their products as much as I really like his work on sustainability. It goes against my conscience. CLICK TO VIEW:

Why I Need CEO PAUL POLMAN & IMRAN KHAN to Help Get More DOVES to Davos
Posted by: Sandra Rupp on: November 20, 2015
UNILEVER CEO Paul Polman is one of the world’s most admired CEOs for his leadership on Sustainability. IMRAN KHAN of Pakistan is one of the most influential people in the world per Time Magazine and the Asia Society. Executive & Anchor Sandra Rupp was placed on the THINKER50 Guru Radar List for the world’s top business thinkers & aims to interview both of them on camera. Here she explains why she has chosen two of her favorite Davos Men to help her get more Doves to Davos.
In terms of your Leadership style, are you a Hawk or a Dove? Did you know that it is the Highly Sensitive of any species that are the key to survival? Do you have the gene for High Sensitivity or High Sensation Seeking? Some of the most dynamic CEOs and Leaders in the world I have met have both genes, because they know how to take risks but also manage risk. Click here to take both Tests. Read this post by Dr. Elaine Aron at www.hsperson.com to learn more. I am a Highly Sensitive Leader (a Dove), and I believe we need more Doves at World Economic Forum to help tackle the most pressing issues of the decade including Income Inequality, the Gender Gap and Terrorism. I am inviting Paul Polman, Imran Khan & other leaders to help me.
Now with viewers in over 65 Countries, Sandra Rupp is inviting CEOs & Leaders to interview with her on camera either virtually or in person in a Smart TV Series “Five Questions to World Leaders.” Contact: www.parthenonadvisors.com and www.sandrarupp.com In 2011 she was placed on the cover of the Davos Debates Video by the World Economic Forum and asked CEOs & Leaders a video question on Innovation & Jobs. In 2015 the Financial Times Alphaville published her Davos Woman Video. She is a top Executive Coach & Anchor, MBA from Kellogg/Northwestern and studied International Business & Art at Oxford. She is asking Leaders to bring two female delegates to Davos. STAY TUNED

Beautiful OR Average? Why I want to work with Unilever CEO Paul Polman & Give DOVE a Creative Makeover
Posted by: Sandra Rupp on: April 15, 2015
UPDATE: Soon after this post, Unilever’s CEO @PaulPolman joined Twitter, modified his website & can now read Sandra’s Tweets He added another lady to his CEO Team.
“What message is new Dove Ad really sending to our daughters?” Telegraph
“Dove’s ‘Beautiful or Average’ Ad: does it do more harm than good?” ETonline
“Dove is Really Reaching with this New Stunt that Forces Women to Label Themselves ‘Average’ or ‘Beautiful'” Fast Company magazine (click to view)
BOTTOM LINE: I have talked openly about how much I admire Unilever’a Sustainable Living Plan. But when I am appointed to his CEO Team, I will have more choices for Dove doors: including Kind-Hearted, Feminine & Fearless. Dear Ad Age & Sir Martin: he needs a female Chief Creative for Dove. The one positive thing about the Ad was they took my advice & filmed women around the globe! Here’s my new video offering to work with Paul as Chief Creative Advisor on Dove & other brands. Click to View:
“Dove has Women Walk through Doors Labeled ‘Beautiful’ or ‘Average’….” Beauty Editor Arabelle Sicardi of BuzzFeed
“Dove’s New Choose Beautiful Ad Sparks Online Backlash.” Nicole Arce in Tech Times
ORIGINAL POST: Just imagine this scenario: a male CMO & male SVP of Brand, a male Chief Creative Officer, and even male Directors of an Ad Agency hatch a plan to have the Ad Team fly to five cities and film women walking into office buildings or malls for a female soap product. But first they plan to put up two huge signs: on top of Door #1 is a sign that says BEAUTIFUL. On top of Door #2 is the sign AVERAGE. And then they film the majority of the women walking through the AVERAGE Door! Wow you can’t even make this stuff up…I really need to help CEO Paul Polman promote the positive self-esteem in his Sustainable Living Plan. As some of you know, I helped him clean up the Axe Ads (see all Videos to CEO Unilever on YouTube), but now I’d like him to hire me to give Dove a Creative Makeover. As I pointed out in my prior Dove post, Beautiful is a man’s word (click to see more). But there’s more that Unilever’s CEO needs to know: the BuzzFeed Beauty Editor mysteriously had her critical Dove post temporarily deleted – and then restored when BuzzFeed’s Editor-in-Chief admits he blew it after a Slate article. So why did he temporarily delete the post? Last time I checked PR Firm Edelman had been contacted, but there was no comment – Richard & Sir Martin please give me a call. Because I suspect Paul will be siding with me – because top women Execs, Journalists & customers are worn out being told we have to think like men. Calgon take me away ~

DAVOS WOMAN Question #3 is for UNILEVER CEO Paul Polman from Sandra Rupp, THINKERS 50 Guru Radar list
Posted by: Sandra Rupp on: January 25, 2013
For those who have followed me on Twitter and subscribed to my YouTube Channel, you know that I have admired CEO Paul Polman’s and Unilever’s Sustainable Living Plan (click to view) , which I have recommended to my fellow THINKERS 50 colleagues. I really like Unilever’s broad definition of Sustainability which includes health, well being and self esteem. On that note, last year I had an issue with the Unilever Axe & Lynx Ads. Watch this follow up video to Paul, because I have a piece of good news to share: hint: maybe I can resume buying TRESemme Hair Products again (also owned by Unilever)….It took us just 4 months to get Women into Augusta with tweets & a video to Augusta Members and about 4 months to get the YouTube Axe Channel revised! How long will it take us to get 30% Women at Davos & invest in the largest economic opportunity worldwide? STAY TUNED. DAVOS WOMAN IS READY TO ROLL….

Excuse Me, Mr. Secretary-General: United Nations Citizen Ambassadors Video 2011
Posted by: Sandra Rupp on: September 10, 2011
If you had 30 Seconds to pitch one World Changing Idea to the United Nations, what would it be? I participated in the Citizen Ambassador Video Contest to share my message of The Yin & Yang of Leadership and express support for the United Nations Millennium Development Goals (MDGs). Here is a link summarizing all eight of the MDGs . The requirement for the video was that your answer be no more than 30 seconds & that you start your pitch with the words “Excuse Me, Mr. Secretary-General.” Watch below:
Can we end poverty one day? By working together and thinking creatively, I believe so. Many thanks to Mr. Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon & the United Nations for their hard work & dedication on the MDGs. Having been lucky enough to work with people from many parts of the world, I have learned that there is a place we are very similar: our hearts and a place we are complementary: our minds. Call or email me to discuss how I can help you, your company or your organization as a Brand Ambassador for Conscious Capitalism, Sustainability & Inclusion.
